Returns , Refunds & Cancellation Policy

  • This return and cancellation policy (“Policy”) applies to the use of the website docilekart.com, any web-pages thereof, mobile-optimized version of the website and other media formats (“Website”) and mobile application (“Application”) (Website and Application collectively referred to as “Platform”) owned by Docile Online Mart Private Limited (hereinafter “Docile”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
  • Please also read (“Terms”) and other policies as set out on the Platform before proceeding to place an order. By placing a purchase order, it shall be deemed that you have read the Terms and other policies including this Policy and the same are acceptable and binding upon you.
  • This Policy sets out the terms and conditions of placing a purchase order through the Platform, on fulfilment of which Docile may permit you to either (i) return the products; (ii) exchange them for other products; and/or (iii) seek refund for eligible returns.
  • By placing a purchase order for a product on the Platform, you agree that you are accessing the product(s) available on this Platform and transacting at your sole risk and are using your best and prudent judgment before entering into any transaction with Docile through this Platform.
  • Before placing an order on Platform you are requested to carefully read the description of product(s), product specific conditions, the Terms and Docile’s policies published on the Platform.

1. Invitation of offer and Acceptance of Offer

  • All products and information displayed on Website are Docile’s invitation to offer and not an offer. Your order for purchase of any products constitutes your offer which shall be subject to Terms and the terms of this Policy and Docile reserves the right to accept or reject your offer in part or in full.
  • Acceptance of your order for purchase by Docile will take place upon dispatch of the product(s) ordered. For avoidance of doubt, no act or omission by Docile prior to the actual dispatch of the product(s) ordered will constitute acceptance of your offer.
  • Dispatch of all the product(s) ordered, may or may not happen at the same time, in such a scenario that portion of the order which has been dispatched will be deemed to have been accepted by Docile and the balance would continue to be an offer to Docile and Docile reserves the right to accept or reject such balance order.
  • We may also require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. If you have provided us with your contact details such as mobile number, phone number or e-mail address, we will call you or send you an e-mail or use any other mode of communication for obtaining additional information from you to accept your order.
  • Docile may either call you or send an e-mail or through any other mode of communication notify you, as soon as possible, the (i) receipt of your order; or (ii) confirm dispatch of product(s) and acceptance of your order. You can track the ordered product through the ‘Order Tracking’ facility available on the Platform.
  • With respect to product(s) sold on the Platform, we receive payment from you before your order has been shipped. If, for any reason, we are unable to deliver you the product(s), as per your order, we will inform you about the same and even refund the value of the product(s) not available or incapable of delivery. In case where the product(s) are sold on the Platform but payment terms are ‘Cash on Delivery’ then, Docile will only inform you about its inability to accept your offer.
  • Docile processes one shipping address per order. Therefore, if you would like to order several items and have these items shipped to different people, Docile will treat each shipping address as separate orders.
  • Any coupon code can only be used once by a user. Coupon code will not be valid on discounted products. Coupon codes cannot be clubbed with existing offers, wallet or discounts.

2. Returns & Refunds

  • We understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned, and in such cases, Docile has a simple and hassle-free return, cancellation and/or exchange policy for products purchased from the Platform, provided the following conditions are fulfilled:
  • Any request for cancellation must be placed by you at any time before we accept the order. No requests placed beyond this period would be entertained.
  • Orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled.
  • Any request for a refund or exchange shall only be accepted if you have received products that are substantially damaged or defective or if you have received wrong product as notified to the Docile at the time of delivery but before sharing the authentication code. You agree that you shall give us all the requisite proofs including but not limited to images of Products having issues.
  • Docile will share a one time password (OTP) with you at the time of delivery. You must share this OTP with the delivery executive only after the examination of the delivered product.
  • The product must be returned in its original condition along with the invoice, all labels, tags, authenticity cards, dust bags, designer boxes, freebies, if any and other packaging intact sold as a part of the product.
  • It is hereby clarified that no exchange or returns shall be accepted if the product packaging is open or the product is used/consumed either in part or otherwise.
  • The Docile may cancel an order (in full or partially) for the reasons including shortage or unavailability of certain products or force majeure events. In case the Docile cancels any order, you will not be charged for such cancellations, and the Docile will refund the payment already made by you.
  • In the event that the product to be returned satisfies the Refund Criteria as mentioned in Clause 3.1, you will be entitled to a refund of the consideration for such product which will be credited to either your Docile Wallet or the original account/mode of payment.
  • In the event that the product to be returned does not satisfy refund criteria as stated in Clause 3.1 above, Docile shall not be liable to accept any such request for cancellation or return or exchanges or issue any refunds.
  • Not with standing anything contained in this Policy, Docile reserves a right to reject any request for return and/or exchange of any products without giving any reasons for the same.
  • All decisions, in relation to the cancellation/refund/return/replacement requests, made by us shall be final and binding. You agree not to challenge such decisions in any manner whatsoever.
  • There will be no refunds for orders to which any kind of discounts were applied. For the purposes of these terms, “discount” includes a sale (including EOSS), discount/offer code or coupon.
  • Discounted product(s) or orders placed using loyalty points or promotional gift vouchers cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Unreasonable and unlawful requests in addition to return or exchange, over and above the entitled refund, will be treated as loss to Docile and Docile reserves the right to cancel orders or block accounts of such customers without any prior notice.
  • Cash on Delivery – The amount will be transferred to the Docile Wallet or bank account as per your preference and details shared with Docile.
  • As practice, Docile returns money into the same bank account/debit card/credit card account from where it received the payment. However, in exceptional cases, Docile may in its discretion and subject to certain conditions entertain your request to for transfer/refund money into any other credit card/debit card/bank account as applicable. It may take 7-10 business days for the amount to reflect in your account and subject to is subject to your financial institution or payment gateway service provider terms and conditions.

3. Disclaimer

  • Docile hereby disclaims any guarantees of exactness as to the finish or appearance of the product as ordered by you.
  • Docile endeavors to provide you with products which is of best quality. However, Docile does not take any guarantee that the products will meet your expectation.
  • The warranty and guarantee, if any, applicable to the products shall be that of the manufacturer and you may directly reach out to the manufacturer through the customer care details made available on the product packaging. Docile is merely a reseller and disclaims any liability with respect to the manufacturing defects, quality, taste, performance of the products sold.
  • Docile has taken all steps to ensure that the colour, size, shapes, design and other features of the products that are displayed on our Platform are accurately reproduced so as to resemble the actual product. However, the graphical display i.e. visuals of the products would be dependent upon the configuration of your computer resource. Docile does not guarantee that the colour of products displayed on the Platform in your computer resource accurately represents the actual product.
  • Docile expressly disclaim any warranties or representations (express or implied) in respect of quality, suitability, accuracy, reliability, completeness, timeliness, performance, safety, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or legality of the products listed or displayed or transacted or the content (including product information and/or specifications) on the Platform.
  • While we have taken precautions to avoid inaccuracies in content; this Platform, all content, information, software, products, audio or video and related graphics are provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Docile is not obligated to provide any physical preview of the object either before or after the sale.
